GUIDE TO PERFECT HANDS
- CLEAN NAILS AND REMOVE POLISH:
- Use acetone or a nail polish remover to remove any remaining nail polish.
- Wash your hands with soap and water, and use a soft brush to clean under your nails and in corners.
- HYDRATION:
- Apply a moisturizer or oil to the cuticle area and entire hand to nourish the skin.
- Let the skin hydrate and absorb the product well for about 10 minutes.
- REMOVE OR ELIMINATE CUTTICLES:
- If you have healthy cuticles and they don't bother you aesthetically, just gently push them back with an orange stick.
- If you want to remove cuticles, choose the tool that is most comfortable for you: a cuticle remover, scissors or a cuticle nipper.
- Before cutting them, be sure to pull them back to remove them from the nail.
- Be careful when cutting excess skin from the cuticles so as not to injure yourself.
- CUT, FILE AND PREPARE:
- Decide on the desired shape and length for your nails.
- Cut your nails with scissors or nail clippers, leaving them about 1 millimeter longer than you want.
- Use a suitable file to shape your nails, taking into account the different shapes available (oval, almond, square, etc.).
- You can use thick cardboard or sponge files, as they are safer for natural nails.
- Use buffer files to smooth, polish and shine your nails, preparing them for polishing.
- MOISTURIZING CUTICLE OIL:
- After painting your nails, apply hydrating oil to and around the cuticle area to rehydrate the skin.
- Argan or rosehip oil are good options.
- HANDCREAM:
- Finish by applying a moisturizing hand cream to keep them soft and cared for.
- You can use an argan hand cream for daily care and a urea moisturizer for intensive hydration.
Remember to follow these steps regularly to keep your hands and nails in good condition and have an impeccable manicure.
